[Nieuws] Sega zal helaas niet aanwezig zijn op Gamescom

Het doet mij pijn om te zien dat een organisatie als Sega, die vroeger een gigant was en naast Nintendo liep, moeite heeft om zich een beetje degelijk te positioneren op de markt. Daarmee bedoel ik dan ook dat ze aanwezig zullen zijn op Gamescom. Dit is wat Sega hierop te zeggen had:

Sega has made the decision not to attend gamescom this year,Gamescom 2011 was a very successful show for us and continues to be the most important European event in the calendar.

Unfortunately the release timing of our 2012 AAA titles and new projects don’t work with the mid- August scheduling of the show. The decision will not mean that Sega will never attend gamescom in the future, this was simply a commercial decision made for 2012.

Eerst Nintendo die niet aanwezig zal zijn, en nu dus Sega. Gamescom is voor onze redactie een evenement waar we naar uitkijken omdat het eigenlijk om de hoek is ten opzichte van alle andere gamebeurzen, en word gehouden van 15 t/m 17 augustus in Keulen. Nu hopen dat het bij Nintendo en Sega blijft want anders sla ik dit jaar maar over.
